Dataspan
Data Span is a rail shooter played entirely with the mouse.
You play as a computer virus that’s slipped into a system and is stealing as much data as possible. But storage is limited, you’ll need to transmit data back before you can grab more. The goal is simple: collect as much as you can before the system shuts you down.
Chaining attacks is key. The more enemies you destroy in one strike, the better the chance they’ll drop a data shard. Just watch out for the bullets they send your way.
Controls

Mouse Move – Aim the cursor

Left Click (hold) – Lock onto targets under the cursor

Left Click (release) – Fire and destroy everything you’ve locked

Right Click (hold) – Transmit data to clear storage

I really enjoyed the visual style of this game; I think having the combo mechanic is very fun and even made it tense at times. I think a reward or difficulty increase with transimitted shards would be really cool to see as well. It also ran very well for me! :)
